Just finished my lastest Custom Superman Animated Maquette!

Just finished my latest Superman Animated Maquette Kyle Rayner...

I think I told everyone I was scupting Hal Jordan, but Kyle Rayner was the Green Lantern who made an appearance in the Superman Animated Series flying Hal Jordan's Plane.... But hey, I never claimed to be a Green Lantern aficionado.

Next up are the following... Superman Animated Flash, Bizarro, and Livewire... And I'm thinking of doing a Bruce Timm styled Spiderman. I may also still sculpt a JLU Hal Jordan based on his appearance in the episode The once and future thing Part 2. If you are interested in seeing a JLU Hal Jordan, please let me know otherwise I will probably not pursue him.

X-men Origins Wolverine Hugh Jackman Print and Upcoming Convention

I just finished Hugh Jackman as Wolverine from the upcoming Origin movie. I hope you all like it and for those of you, and you know who you are, who have been clamoring for this... Wolverine is now available for purchase. There are ONLY 50 of the large prints available, so 1st come 1st served. The smaller prints are unlimited. Prices are $15 for the small print and $60 for the large print.

I am currently working on the Hulk and Tony Stark as Iron Man, so have some patience. To answer some of the questions about sizes on these pieces, I’m not sure at this point. What I do know is that they too will be very limited as well. Future plans are prints of the new Spock from Star Trek, yes, I know I heard the collective sigh…he WILL be available in the larger size print, so keep your eyes out for further updates and yes he will be ready for the SDCC.

On to new maquette news, Hal Jordan is done and I should have him ready by the end of the month for the Megacon show which my buddy Scott Beaderstadt and I will be in attendence for. After the show I plan to start sculpting the Flash. I know, I said Bizarro was next and he is almost complete but my concern is with costs and in this economy I need to be careful with my costs too and Flash is smaller than Bizarro. Who would you rather have the Justice League or a Superman villian? I can scupt both Green Lantern and Flash for the cost of Bizarro. I’m putting him on the back burner for now. I think if SD goes well I’ll start on Superman and Wonder Woman and that will only leave Jonn and Arthur left…HOW EXCITING???!!! Well for me it is.

Latest Update and New Years Resolution!

Hey everyone! As you’ll notice, I’ve been a busy lil bee drawing and sculpting! I have 2 new prints for sale: Two-Face and Scarecrow from the monumental hit movie The Dark Knight. These 2 new prints currently come in the smaller sizes only, but I’m contemplating making a very limited run of 50 signed and numbered 18x24 pieces. Remember 1st come 1st served!

I’m currently working on a limited Hugh Jackman Wolverine print and a Sally and Jack Nightmare before Christmas print as well. I’m just about done with the Wolverine drawing and will be posting images as soon as it’s completed. I know a number of you have been asking for prints of characters I’m currently producing. Please keep in mind all of my artwork is done with pencil to paper, so it talks me a while to kick these out so please be patient.

As far as sculpting goes, I just finished Parasite from the Animated Superman line. Up next on the chopping block are Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) and Bizarro from the Superman line as well…they should both be available by the end of February (God willing). After February I will be sculpting Livewire and Flash…in that order. Some of these pieces will be displayed at my upcoming conventions and all will be ready for the (“drum roll please”) SAN DIEGO COMIC CON!!! Whoo Hoo!!!

If anyone is interested in coming to any of the shows I’ll be attending, here is the list…

· Megacon in Orlando, Feb. 27,28,Mar. 1st.
· Emerald City Con in Seattle, April 4-5th.
· 2009 San Diego Comic Con, July 22-26th.
· Wizard World Chicago, Aug. 7-9th.

I attend these conventions with my trusty sidekick Scott Beaderstadt, author and artist of the infamous Troll Lords. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you who attends the cons, to put a name with a face. I hope to keep my blog more up to date this year and share some of the pictures I take while at those shows or other events(You can see them under my “About Me” page now). Well, thanks for checking in and I hope to see you all soon.
